So, best laid plans and all.

I didn't get back to do another entry yesterday. And I'm barely squeaking one in today. There was no excuse for yesterday, as D and I accomplished/did absolutely nothing. Today we were busy all day (with something kind of work-related for D that entailed us making some cashola, so that's happy news), but I still could have sat down here before it was almost midnight.

Anyhoo, I just realized I lied up in that last paragraph - we did accomplish one thing yesterday. D and I booked a trip to Vegas, baby! Whee! Exciting! We've been wanting to go together for a long time, but the timing just hasn't been right. Well, now we've got all the time in the world so we're going! On January 2! For three fun-filled nights at Harrah's! D's quite thrilled he'll be out there for the college bowl games, because if there's one thing he loves besides me and the kitty? It's college football.

And get this - we're planning to take our wedding ensembles with us and renew our vows. How fun will that be? I get to wear my pretty pretty dress again and we'll walk around the casino(s) all fancy like and receive smiles and well wishes from people who don't know us. We had such a ball the first time we exchanged vows, maybe we'll make this whole wedding thing an annual event.
