We're leaving for Vegas tomorrow and I couldn't be more tickled about it. We're all packed and ready to go. The house is tidy (the laundry's done, the dishes are clean and in the cabinets, and the Christmas decorations are back in their red & green storage containers in the garage) and ready for D's mom to stop by on Tuesday morning to feed the cat.

I kind of changed my mind about taking our wedding attire. I was concerned about the dress even fitting (it was tight on our wedding day and I've gained about 5-6 pounds since then; damn cookies), so I tried it on. It felt about the same kind of tight, but I couldn't help but think how much more fun it would be to wear it weighing twenty pounds less. So D and I made a deal - we'd return to Vegas this year when he loses 25 lbs and I lose 20 and do the wedding thing. As soon as we made that decision, I immediately felt more relaxed about the trip. That just proves weddings can be stressful, even when you're already married.

Since we'll be in Vegas and Harrah's doesn't have high speed internet access in their rooms, I won't be able to update until Thursday. So there goes the whole Holidailies for the next four days. It's not like I've been perfect up to now, but I still feel the guilt. Heck, I'm actually a little impressed I've done as well as I have. I've never updated this much, especially when I have nothing really going on. It makes for some truly boring entires, of course, but at least I'm going over 50 words.

Well, I'd better hit the sack. We've gotta be outta here by 5:45 a.m. tomorrow. And this girl? Is not a morning person.
