Bah, foiled again! I couldn't update yesterday because my mom's DSL was down. No, seriously. It was. I wouldn't lie this close to baby Jesus' birthday.

Our very cold and very white Christmas was wonderful. We had a great time with my family, eating, drinking and just hanging out. And we both got great gifts - my mom got D four more of our salad plates (hee) and D got me (in addition to things I asked for) an MP3 player. Talk about a surprise! It's 20GB and tomorrow I'm all about charging it and loading it up for our trip to Vegas, baby. I'll have to find a two-way ear jack thingy so both D and I can listen to it on the plane. Yay!

My sister and I hit a few stores at home yesterday for the after Christmas sales. I was only in the market for holiday decorations, so I didn't mess with anything else. I got very cute tree skirt, some garland, silver bells, wrapping paper and a handy wrapping paper container, all at Kmart. I didn't find any attractive stocking holders or wreaths for our outside front windows. So I'm thinking I'll have to go out again tomorrow now that I'm back in Columbus with many more shopping options.

I still can't upload pictures to AOL and it's pissing me off. So I'm thinking I'll finally bite the bullet and buy myself a Dland gold membership for 2005. But maybe I'll wait to see how well I do in Vegas. Then I could use my winnings for super gold. Ha. I never win, but there's always hope.
