Dude, it's cold here. Like artic cold. But tomorrow it'll be 48. Then Wednesday it's a "wintry mix" (apparently that's snow/sleet/freezing rain) and 35. So I've decided that D and I will get all of our running around errands done tomorrow and Wednesday, we'll stay warm inside while I bake tasty treats for our families (and a goodly amount for ourselves, surely).

We did get to the bank, library, post office and grocery store today, so those things are done. You know, baking cookies and whatnot is really more expensive than buying gifts, I think. Peanut butter morsels and icing and pecans and vanilla extract add UP. But it's not about the money, of course. Except that it is. I mean, we're both unemployed, people.

Speaking of which, I spent the morning combing the job boards as planned and found a really interesting one that I hope to hear back about. Unfortunately, it was posted on 12/8, I think, so they could have interviewed and decided already. It did say the position wouldn't start until the beginning of the year, so there's still potential. I'm thinking I might even call the company tomorrow or Wednesday just to follow up.

You know, it's too cold and too late not to be in bed. So off I go!
