This whole Holidailies thing is kicking my ass. I barely have anything worthy to write about once a month, much less once a day. I mean, I'm not working so I don't have coworker stories or anything having to do with other people. It's all crap about my boring life.

But excitement yesterday - I drove down to Cincinnati for lunch with my former boss! Whee! Yeah, well, it was still fun if not exciting. She oohed over the wedding pics and caught me up on the office goings on. We ate at one of my favorite places (since there isn't one up here) and had one of my favorite lunches (veggie pizza with no cheese). I stopped by my favorite card store and bought (on sale!) some pretty paper for my annual holiday letter. They had lots of cute cards I wish I could snap up at their after Xmas sale. That's my problem with all the after Xmas sales - I'm always in my small hometown, so they have none of the stores I'd like to hit for the sales. Ah, well - that surely saves me plenty of money every year.

Today, we're off to West Virginia to celebrate Christmas with my dad. Before we go, I need to shower, pack, and make fudge and buckeyes. But I'd have to get off my ass to do all of those things and I just don't feel like it. And I don't know how or if I'll update here and at Holidailies while down there.

Is it too late to go back to bed and start the day over?
