So I didn't get the job at Qu3st, which is okay. I did get a positive rejection, though. The recruiter told me the hiring manager was "positive" about me and encouraged me to watch their website and apply for any future marketing positions that would be a fit for me.

I'm very interested in another job I interviewed for two weeks ago and I'm still waiting to hear back from that. The hiring manager was supposed to narrow her list to the top two candidates last week, but I got an email from her last Wednesday saying she was behind and wouldn't have a decision made until this week. So far this week, there's no word. I think this job would be a great fit for me and I could bring a lot to the position. I interviewed well and have, or, I should say HAD, a good feeling about it, but the longer I don't hear, the less optomistic I am.

Well, I'll be... I just got a phone call from a recruiter/placement firm about submitting my resume for a temp-to-hire marketing position at the city's largest law firm. They want someone to start on Monday. I told him to submit me. I mean, what do I have to lose besides unemployment? But man, I don't have enough dress clothes to work in a law firm.

The house is all decorated for Christmas and I love it. MoreHusband said he wished it could stay this way all year. My thoughts exactly. It's just so warm and, well, glowey.

I'm making Christmas cards for my online card exchanges. They are going to be really neat, I think. But it's going slowly because I'm not very focused right now. I don't have a plan for my day (*any* day) and things get done haphazardly or not at all. Gah. I need a schedule again.
