So, yeah. Not much to report from hot and humid C-bus these days. Obviously.

Since we last visited...

I've been in three other states. I interviewed for a job I thought I'd surely get, but didn't. On a two day trip, I spent time separately with three college friends. I went camping in 93 degree heat. I haven't lost any weight. I held a fifteen pound eleven week old baby. I got drunk on a Wednesday night. I yelled at my husband as I drove around Louisville with crappy directions and no clue how to get where we needed to go. I got a cell phone. I got a crappy cell phone number. I surprised my husband with a Harry Potter birthday cake. I created a goal board on the wall of our office. I met new people. I pulled weeds. I made pesto for the first time. I was lazy.

That's really about it. A few new things on the immediate horizon, though. On July 26, I'm off to Reno for a writer's conference until the 31st. I'm going with friends I don't get to spend much time with any more, so that will definitely be enjoyable. Then in August, MoreHusband and I head to the Outer Banks for a week with my family. Surely there will be some diary-worthy fodder generated on that trip.
