So after some last minute drama with my house buyer, it seems that all is well (ie, he got his head out of his ass) and we're on track for closing next Monday, August 30.

Yay! But also? Sigh. I will miss my house as I do love it so. It's pretty and shiny and I'm attached to it so it'll be hard to leave. But I really am looking forward to working on D's house and making it ours. My current house came already done; it was a "just add Sarah" house which was exactly what I wanted and needed at the time. Now I'll be picking paint colors and window treatments and slip clovers and organizing two lives, not just one. Plenty to keep me busy during my impending unemployment.

Well, I'm off to a goodbye lunch with a former client then to Tiffany for a matron-of-honor gift for my sister. I'm not sure what I'm going to get her, but you just can't go wrong with the little blue box love.
