Had a great short weekend with D. We went to Lexington for a wedding and had a great time. We went early and visited a vineyard in Midway called Equus Run. The wines were better than I'd expected and it was a wonderfully warm day, so we walked around and shared a bottle of chardonnay. The wedding was nice and we had fun at the reception, but poor D was just wiped out by the time we got back to the hotel around 9pm. So I left him in bed and hung out with his friends. The concensus? They all love me. I'm cool.

It's getting harder and harder to be away from him. Our weekends have shortened considerably since he started his new job and is getting up at 3am to start his day. And I'm getting more and more detached from my job now that I know I can't continue it in Columbus. For that reason, I've set a goal of putting my house on the market by June 1. I love my house and will miss my house, but honestly, I can't wait!
