| Now, this is more like it.
Things haven't completely changed from yesterday, but I am definitely feeling better. A little Clean Sweeping and I feel like I'm back on track! Last night, I finished cleaning out my closet then hit the dresser. I threw away a dozen bras (they fit 100 lbs. ago - one was 44D!), about five or so pairs of socks (two of which had Izod alligators on them - oy) and at least ten pairs of shoes (including three pairs of Hush Puppies and three Nine Wests). I finally took to the basement all the boxes Dawnie gave me and filled a big one with clothes to give away or sell, then I sorted some things stored in the bar cabinet in my dining room, adding more stuff to a giveaway/sell box and discovering things I thought I'd lost (like cat coasters I bought as a gift for a friend or my mom [can't remember which] a couple of years ago then misplaced). I'm such a goob, but I love this whole Clean Sweeping thing! I cannot wait to have a yard sale and get this stuff out of my house. I'd love to try selling some of it on eBay, but right now, the bulk of good stuff consists of plus-sized winter clothing. 'Tis not the season, unfortunately. Tonight I get to visit with my two adorable nephews and I know that will also lift my spirits and put me in a happy place. Because I just can't hear "Aunt Sarah" enough. |
