So last night I was talking to D (formerly known as the boyfriend or the fiance) and I told him about this journal (not specifically where it is, just that I have one online). I often make references about things I read in other people's web journals and he's occasionally commented that I should do one of my own. I've never responded to that before, but last night I fessed up to already having one. I told him I'd recently changed how I referenced him in it and told him if he wanted to, he could pick his own nickname. He said maybe he should go for something in the vein of Esteban (see, I told you I talk about journals that I read; so much so that he knows about Esteban and his "troop of dork scouts", which is one of the best lines EVER; we sometimes say it to each other just to laugh and laugh), like Dante or Diego. Neither of those seemed right to me, so I told him to think about it and let me know. We'll see if he comes up with anything I like, because, after all, it's still MY journal so I get to approve or veto any and all nicknames.
